spectrum inclusion was set up as a constituted group in Rossendale in february 2023 to provide support and a social group for the LGBTqia+ community in the area.
Towards the end of 2023, we were approached to help support a social group in Darwen, and then in early 2024, we became a registered CIC (Community interest company).
In march 2024, we launched our spectrum lantern campaign, which aims to identify community groups and local venues as LGBTQIA+ safe and friendly.
on saturday 20th july 2024, in partnership with the whitaker art gallery and museum, we held Rossendale's first Pride event, pride in the park, With over 500 people in attendance.
In january 2025, we established our third social group, community crafts in burnley.
We are hoping to expand to provide support in more areas of east lancashire, and as such we're looking to recruit volunteers to help. IF you are interested, please contact us.
